About the Event

Rain barrels are a convenient water collection system, allowing you to save rainwater from your downspout for a variety of uses: watering plants, cleaning yard equipment, or filling up your swimming pool.  This sustainable solution is a win-win, minimizing household water consumption while decreasing stormwater runoff! 

All of the necessary supplies for making the rain barrel will be provided and our Director of Conservation will lead you through the step-by-step process of putting your rain barrel together. Participants will leave with a completed rain barrel that is ready to be installed and collect stormwater on their property!
