Freeze-Up 5k @ Free Will Brewing
The Freeze-Up 5k begins and ends at Free Will Brewing Company in Perkasie, PA. Join us for this unique 5k race on the scenic trails in and around Perkasie and along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek. The Freeze-Up is open to runners and walkers of all ages, but you must be 21 or older (with a valid ID) to get your free craft brew from Free Will. Want an event t-shirt? School's Out STEAM Day Camp
Are you looking for a fun day of activities during your K-5th grade student's day off from school?
Join PWC from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as we host our School's Out STEAM Day Camp: 'Nature All Around Us'. Our day camp will have students engaged with hands-on indoor and outdoor activities, crafts and games as we explore and investigate nature. We will be touching upon the tenants of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in ways that are novel and fun.

Fall Foliage & Float
Enjoy a leisurely morning paddle by kayak at Green Lane Reservoir (Walt Road Day Use Area). Enjoy the splendor of the changing leaves with a guided paddle. Learn about common tree species and the importance of the riparian zone as you enjoy the crisp fall weather. No prior kayak experience is required. Kayak, paddle and personal flotation device provided. Please wear shoes you do not mind getting wet. Dress in layers. Sign-up!

Join researcher and certified bird bander Shea Marino for a delightful evening of learning about the smallest of PA’s owls. She will attempt to catch a Saw-whet owl so we can observe this hard to see species up close. The program will include additional night time activities. Open House & Silent Auction
Join us on Friday, September 30th from 5 pm - 8 pm for our Open House featuring our Silent Auction and Volunteer Celebration!
Our Open House will include appetizers, desserts, and a cash bar featuring Free Will Brewing! Grab a bite to eat and something to drink, peruse our Silent Auction, make bids, and of course hang out under the lights!
Along with closing out the Silent Auction, we will take time to celebrate our volunteers and showcase our environmental awardees. RSVP to our Open House.

Eagles, Osprey and Herons Oh My!
Paddle Green Lane (Walt Road Day Use Area) by kayak, and look for bald eagles, ospreys and other birds of prey including herons and kingfishers!
Join a Conservancy Educator trained in raptor identification and learn about the importance of water quality and its impact on birds of prey. The program will discuss the basic natural history of these species and the window they give us to the world around us.
Previous kayaking experience is not necessary. Shoes that can get wet are highly recommended. A kayak, personal flotation device, and paddle will be provided for each participant. Open to ages 10+
