Description: Perennial producing needle-thin foliage whorled around the stem and white clusters of flowers in summer. This milkweed blooms later than other Asclepias species. Flowers give way to seed pods filled with seeds attached to silky white hairs. Spreads via rhizome. Tolerant of poor and dry soils. Deer resistant.
