Description: Wonderful Liatris species that features striking purple flowers that resemble buttons! Spikes of purple flowers emerge from late summer into the fall atop blueish - green narrow foliage. Flowers are highly attractive to a wide range of pollinators and frequently visited by monarchs, painted ladies, and other butterfly species. Best in full sun, but tolerant of part shade. Tolerant of poor, dry soils. Drought tolerant. One of the latest blooming Liatris species.
