Description: This perennial offers clumps of grass-like foliage that is blueish gray in color. Attractive purple flowers are produced in late spring into summer. Foliage may go dormant in heat of summer and return next spring. Stems are very attractive when emerging in the spring and offer green, blue, pink, and purple coloring. Grows a bit taller and is more tolerant to hot, sunny areas compared to its cousin Tradescantia virginiana.
